Zion Ponderosa is located just minutes away from the east entrance of Zion National Park and shares some of the same incredible views with the park. Nestled in the tall pines at the top of the plateau, Zion Ponderosa offers you a picturesque place to stay while exploring the wonders of Zion. Choose from rustic tent sites and cowboy-style cabins to luxury cabin suites and private home rentals.

Zion National Park is famous for its hiking trails. Visitors the world over come to hike in the famous Zion Narrows or to explore the park hiking the many small trails like Weeping Rock or Emerald Pools. Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort offers a shuttle that will drop you off right at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center where you can pick up all the information for your hiking tour of the park. After a day of traversing the wonders of nature, the Zion Ponderosa shuttle will whisk you up to the cool, relaxing, pine covered cabin area where you can rest and recover for the next day’s adventure. Dine with us in our western-style kitchen, savoring such fare as Rocky Mountain Trout, one-pound T-bone steaks, salmon and roasts. Hikers don’t just eat trail mix when they stay at Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort.

Hiking in Zion canyon can really tire you out. Be sure to plan a day or two just to relax and take it easy. Spend a morning sightseeing from an ATV or horseback. Play some tennis, shoot some hoops or try the zip line in the recreation barn. One of the preferred pleasures is swimming in our two-tiered gravity edge pool. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery soaking in the pool or two Jacuzzis or just try a little sunbathing on the deck. Use the larger pool with multiple waterslides for family style fun with the kids. This pool is ideal for the more active water activities and can accommodate larger groups with ease.
