Enjoy the breathtaking views at Mountain View. Whether relaxing in the spacious and warm great room or seated outside on the deck, you will thoroughly enjoy the incredible views. Lean over the deck rail and watch wild turkey march through or deer dash past. Enjoy the varied and beautiful natural pine forest at your fingertips. Take the time to drink in the spectacular sunrises and sunsets over refreshments on the deck. Join family or friends at the antique dining table to plan your outings of hiking, nature walks, cycling, mountain biking, sightseeing trips to the many National Parks in the area or enjoy the organized recreation at the Adjoining Zion Ponderosa Ranch.
Relax indoors in any of the uniquely decorated bedrooms for a little quiet time of reading. The Cowboy Room is furnished with an antique iron bed covered with a beautiful quilt. A lovely hand made tapestry completes the warm color scheme. Collages of family pictures make this room warm and friendly. The Princess Room beckons to anyone who enjoys antique elegance. The matched set of antique furniture combined with the elegant color selection make this bedroom a wonderland in which to just sit in and feel special. The Master bedroom is elegantly decorated with unique wall mountings, a beautiful view, especially of each morning’s sunrise and direct access to the spacious deck. The Master bath is fabulous, with a tiled walk in shower and a beautiful leaded glass window.
Family gatherings in the Great Room are a special event. The 550 square foot great room provides ample space for multiple family activities. The satellite TV offers relaxation for some, while others can sit by the realistic gas fireplace enjoying the view. Games, toys for the children, internet access, and a countertop bar all create options for family relaxation with plenty of room. The view from the great room gives the home its name as you will never tire of the changing skies, clouds, light and shadow, sunrises and sunsets. The most distinctive feature of Mountain View is the hand carved entry doors. These doors were custom hand carved for Mountain View by the Scottsdale Art Factory. These spectacular doors give extra elegance to your entire experience at Mountain View.
- Peak Season Only - (2011 and 2012 Reservations): - Minimum one activity voucher required per person (rate $15.00 per voucher). Save by purchasing a full package (dining/activities/lodging) or the adventure package where you receive 10 or more activity vouchers at $10.00 per voucher. Minimum one voucher per person required.
- Deposit: A 50% deposit is due upon booking for all reservations. The remaining 50% is charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- No Pets and No Smoking allowed in all lodging units.
- Late Arrivals: If you or anyone in your party finds that your arrival time will be later than the closing time of our check-in desk, please be aware that there will be a late check-in packet available for you. Please call the Resort if you will be arriving later than 9:00pm."
- For Vacation Home Rentals a minimum 2-Night stay is required. For your protection accidental rental damage insurance is required with your vacation home rental. - Please note that for the winter period between Thanksgiving and March 15, our regular activities are not available and dining offerings are limited. This is a great time to enjoy the quiet of Zion National Park while staying in one of our cabins or mountain homes.
