We offer our guests numerous activities from which to choose, including rock climbing, rappelling, fishing, shooting, archery, paintball, riding ATVs and horseback riding. Our horseback rides provide guests a unique vantage point for viewing the scenery of nearby Zion National Park, seeing it as early cowboys and outlaws did. We have horses trained for every age and ability level, whether it is your first time or you have been riding horses for years. Children under eight will enjoy our pony rides led by one of our wranglers.

Hiking, in addition to horseback riding, is a popular way to view the fantastic scenery of the Zion National Park area. Located only minutes from the park’s east entrance, Zion Ponderosa is a perfect springboard for Zion hiking. We even offer a hiking shuttle to and from the park’s main visitor center. Zion hiking trails lead to crystal-clear ponds, waterfalls, and hanging gardens while meandering through some of the greatest biodiversity in Utah. One of the many attractions of hiking Zion trails are the towering rock monoliths that surround you, including the Great White Throne and Angels Landing.

When you are not horseback riding, hiking, or participating in one of the many other activities available to you at Zion Ponderosa, you will enjoy first-class accommodations in one of our mountain retreat homes or cabin suites. We also offer tent sites and RV sites with full hookups. Our dining room offers guests breakfast, lunch and dinner.
